2007 Main Event Champion: Can PokerStars Do It Again?

PokerStars has three players remaining at this year’s Main Event Final Table all vying for the World Championship Title and Gold Bracelet, along with the $8,250,000 that is awarded for 1st place.

PokerStars players have won the Main Event three out of the last four years: In 2003 - Chris Moneymaker ($2,500,000), 2004 - Greg Raymer ($5,000,000), and in 2005 - Joe Hachem ($7,500,000).

This year’s PokerStars hopeful’s are:

Tuan Lam - 40-year-old online high-limit cash player and former poker dealer from Ontario, Canada. He currently sits in second place in chips with 21,315,000. You can find Tuan Lam on PokerStars playing under the name BABYHAN.

Raymond Rahme - 62-year-old Seven Card Stud player from South Africa that has only been playing No-Limit Hold’em for two years currently sits in 4th place in chips with 16,320,000.

Hevad Khan - Once accused of being a pokerbot on PokerStars; Hevad Khan has a talent for being able to multi-play dozens of sit & gos at the same time on a single 17″ monitor! Hevad Khan is currently in 7th place with 9,205,000 in chips and this PokerStars VIP Club Supernova player can be found playing at PokerStars under the name of RaiNKhaN.

Even if these players don’t win the event, they and PokerStars should be very proud of their achievement in getting this far!
